This is one of the oldest cemeteries in eastern Union
County, Arkansas. Most of the graves
are obliterated. The few listed below
have marble vaults. The land where this
cemetery is located was originally owned by Colonel Robert Wallace. Both black and whites are buried there. Whites are buried on the left (North) side
of the road, while blacks are buried on the right (South) side of the road. However, no whites have been
buried there in about one hundred years.
Located northeast of the old community, New London. June 18, 2002.
Canvass date unknown.
I copied out of Union County Cemetery books, Volume 4, for the purpose
of posting the list.
