Evening Shade, Sharp County, Arkansas

Partial Transcription

Submitted by Tootie Dennis, November 15, 2002

Bear Creek Cemetery is located 3 miles West of Evening Shade, Arkansas,

at the site of the Bear Creek Methodist Church.

It is a well-kept, country cemetery, and some Sharp family descendants are buried here.

The Bear Creek Methodist Church is visible down the hill from the cemetery.

It still has an active congregation. The one-room school house was located

at this site in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
