Old Hon Cemetery

This old cemetery is located West of Waldron, Arkansas, in the Hon Community, just by the Poteau River. If you go down the road toward Lake Hinkle you come to the small community of Winfield. Take the first dirt road to the right. If you go all the way down it is on the left . A fence and gate can be seen from the road. It is here that the first Hon Cemetery was placed. I have visited this little place on several occasions and find it to be a most interesting site. The cemetery is still kept though there has not been a burial there in sometime. It is a great place to go and just look around.
