Page Hollow, Pope County, Arkansas

My
husband and I found 2 graves that are located in northern Pope County off
Highway 7 in an area called Page Hollow.
Following
Page Hollow Road (Pope County Road # 171), county
maintenance
of this road ends after about 3 miles, and the road becomes
Forest
Service Road 1810, which is little more than a jeep-trail now.
About a
mile onto FSR 1810, the two graves are located on the left side of the
road.
There is a nice little fence around the graves and just the 2 of them
there.
The names on the graves are
Owen M. Standridge b.
1820 d. 1905
Caroline Standridge, b.
1822 d. 1907.
The graves
are well-maintained, and have flowers on them, so I suppose someone knows they
are there, but I wanted to make sure they were not forgotten. We took some
pictures of them, and I would be glad to e-mail you a photo.
