Located on south side of Norristown Mountain, on road from Dam access road

The sign at the gate to this cemetery is Chappell Cemetery. In the original cemetery books done by the Pope County Historical Assoc. it was listed as Howell Cemetery (Chappell).

According to members of the FERGUSON family, Ulrica TRUETT and Anna HARVILL

TRUETT are buried just south of R. Sam FERGUSON.  Anna was the wife of Elijah

TRUETT, buried just south of these two unmarked graves, and Ulrica was a daughter of Elijah and Ann.
