Hickory Grove Cemetery

Nail, Newton County, Arkansas

"Gone But Not Forgotten"

Transcription by Robert & Rosa Cline

May 12, 2001,  typed January 2002 (with added in people from obits)

Updated February 6, 2003

Located in Nail, Arkansas. Going from Fallsville on Highway 16, you will be driving East going towards Jasper, passing Edward's Junction. From Edward's Junction, you will drive 5.6 miles on Highway 16 East.  You will pass Swain Cemetery on your left and keep going 5.6 miles, and the cemetery will be on your right.  There will be a Fina gas station across from the cemetery.

We are always looking for obits or additional information for anyone of these people. Or pictures to go with a face.  If you have any additional information you would like to share with me or an obit, plese feel free to contact me, or if you would like to ask me if I've received anything more on someone.

Sometimes as I'm typing this up I might have gotten a date or a letter wrong...so if you find anything that is wrong please let us know so we can correct this.  I've put a listing of everyone in the cemetery in alphabetical order and under that is the actual transcription.  We have tried copying down everything as it is on the stones. Some stones were just too aged or weathered to properly do them, but we have done our best to get everyone properly identified.

I have put a * beside those that have been added.
