Lower Wharton Cemetery

Wharton, Madison County, Arkansas

"Gone But Not Forgotten"

Submitted April 10, 2003, by Rosa Cline

Updated February 16, 2004

Driving directions: From Kingston square it is right at 9.0 miles on highway 21 going toward Huntsville. (The cemetery is located between Huntsville and Kingston)  The cemetery iron sign will be on your left  and then you will see the cemetery as you enter, as most stones are on the side of the hill and can't see from the highway.

This cemetery I am trying to transcribe (with my two daughters' help) as time permits me to do so... so if you don't see your surname here and would like to contact me for a name request please feel free to do so.. If I can go out and search I will but if I can't I'll tell you so.  Also some of these I have obits for, if anyone would like to have a copy...and sometimes there are pictures of the people to go with the obit...if anyone would like to contact me for a copy. Also if you don't find the information on this transcribtion look at findagrave.com for the person listed and there may be more information there for them. I am trying to update this when I get new obits..
