Dr. H.S. Morris Dies. He died April 17, 1935
Dr. H. S. Morris, prominent physician of Mammoth Springs for
many years, died at the Springfield Baptist Hospital at 3 o'clock Wednesday
morning, where he had been for several weeks, following an operation.
Doctor Morris is survived by his widow, Mrs. Lena Morris;
and five daughters, Miss Freddie and Miss Lora Lee Morris of the home; Mrs.
J.D. Gillispie of Thayer, Mrs. C. H. Culver of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, and
Mrs John Williams of St. Louis, Mo.
Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10 o'clock
from the Methodist church in Mammoth Spring, with L. O. Sanderson and C.L.
Wilkerson ministers in the Church of Christ of Springfield, officiating. Burial
will be made in Riverside Cemetery at Mammoth Springs under the direction of
the Carr Funeral Service of Thayer.
