Partial Submitted 09/11/2003 From: Henrietta Ann (Martin) St Marie

I will list the graves I have and tell you how they are related to me.

Ellen V McGinnis

born June 12, 1853

died Jan 1, 1930

Inscription:

Our mother has gone to a mansion of rest

From a trech of sorrow and pain

To that glorious land of deity blest

Where she never can suffer again

This is my great grandmother on my father’s side. She was married to Joseph Albert Martin before she married James Riley Dawson

J A Martin

son of W N & M A Martin

died Oct 22, 1873

Aged 22 yrs & 7 days

This is exactly as the stone reads. He was my great grandfather and died before my grand father was born. He and Ellen Martin/McGinnis are buried beside each other.

W N Martin

Born June 11, 1818

Died July 7, 1892

This is my great great grandfather

Cleva Douglas went with me to the cemetery and says she believes that W N Martin was married to a Margaret Fine so I also have some of the Fines below

Mrs F E Fine

Sept 18, 1847

July 18, 1921

John H Fine

Born March 15, 1841

Died Apr 8, 1887

Also I found a McGinnis that is related but not sure the exact relation. He would have been from Ellen V McGinnis

Simon Everett McGinnis

Sept 30. 1902

March 27, 193

The story goes that Ellen V McGinnis married a James Riley Dawson and they had 12 children. Ellen left Dawson because he was really mean to her. Anyway when she died she was buried by J A Martin her first husband because she had left Dawson.
