Morrilton Depot Museum

The Morrilton Depot Museum is located on Railroad Avenue in Morrilton. Hours are 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM Friday and Saturday. The museum welcomes tour groups and will open at other times for these groups by appointment. The museum is staffed by volunteers who give generously of their time. A lot of history can be found at the museum. Many old photos are on display including lots of school photos. There is a special exhibit of Indian artifacts from the Conway County area as well as a Civil War exhibit. An old spinning wheel sits gracefully in one of the rooms. An exhibit of old medical items is a treasure to see. A gorgeous piece of woodworking adorns the main lobby. This is a vestment chest from the local Catholic Church. These are but a few of the many bits of history which are housed in the Morrilton Depot Museum.
