What's New!
Corrections, updates, and questions are appreciated! Hello, and welcome to my site. My name is Amy Hedrick, and I am the compiler for all of the information found herein. Many years of research has gone into the discovery of my ancestors, and this site is here, for you, the new researcher, to find your ancestry. I have numerous lines intertwined; these families arrived from their mother countries, namely Germany, England, and Ireland, and settled in many states across the United States; mostly within Pennsylvania, Virginia, North Carolina, Maryland, Ohio, and finally ending up in Indiana. One of the most amazing things I have found in doing this research is how many of my ancestors from my father's line and my mother's line were neighbors in other states and how their descendants eventually married into the migrating lines as they showed up in each state. I am now practically related to the state of Indiana! This site contains such family information as descendant charts, documents, obituaries, photos, history and more. Under each surname will be sections dedicated to such information. Also a Links section to other family sites that tie into these lines, and a section for family updates called Recent News. I will be adding a page for various surnames as I work on them, so this site will be a constant work in progress. The surnames to the left are who I am working on right now. My gedcom is updated on a regular basis, however I have not included my source documentation due to some email addresses being in the mix. So feel free to email me for my sources, I am happy to share.
