PRHGS Annual Yard Sale Event
Date: Saturday, August 5th, 2006
Time: 7am - 1pm
Place: Welcome Center, 749 Boll Weevil Circle, Enterprise, Alabama
Directions: Located across highway from Martin-Colley Pharmacy on service road running parallel with Boll Weevil Circle
Purpose: Fund raiser for replacement of old problem rending copier
Event Leader: Dr. Jack Oden
Number of Volunteers in Attendance: Approximately 15
Number of Visitors/Shoppers: Approximately 200
Weather: Beautiful sunny day with slight breeze, but hot; without it being fall, we could not have requested a nicer day from God.
Event: Kind and generous folks and volunteers donated items for sale in the yard sale. Unselfish and kind hardworking volunteers worked collecting items, pricing items, setting up items and tables, working the table sales and breaking down .
I attended this event and had a wonderful time. I thoroughly enjoyed everyone's company. And the special treat came when the two emails from our president Dr. Oden and treasurer Gloria Evans arrived stating that we had definitely raised enough for the new and much needed copier.
