Beatrice Elementary School is on the site of the historical Beatrice High
School, referenced in the Monroe Journals Centennial editions. The structure in use prior to the construction of the buildings now known as Beatrice Elementary School burned in the summer of 1955. I do not know when the high school was designated as an elementary school.
Thanks,
