Red Hill Baptist Church was located seven miles east of Franklin. This picture was taken in 1914 at a revival meeting which was being held there. The revival preacher was pastor Redman. The building shown was the second one for the church, the first one having been made of logs in 1818.Red Hills Baptist Church was the only Baptist church within a 20 mile area in the early 1900,s!
This is a Memorial that I placed at the site of the Red Hills Cemetery and Church 9/5/99 . The Church no longer stands it was torn down in the 1920's !
