1869 - A. H. Mitchell, presiding elder, Demopolis
 "Years before" 1876 - William McAllister, Marengo County "bequeathed to the Alabama Conference a sum of money."
December 7-12, 1898 - L C. Brown, Faunsdale, served as lay member of the 67th Alabama Conference of the M. E. Church
 	South in Greensboro.
December 3-7, 1919 - 88th Conference met at Demopolis
