Monumental Inscriptions of Kintail & Lochalsh, Scotland and Genealogy

Red Point

Red Point or Ard Deraig, is a small secluded cemetary near the southern shore of Loch Duich. The earliest inscription is for 1920, continuing up to the present day. From Shiel Bridge take the road heading for Glenelg and Ratagan, leave the route to Glenelg as it begins to climb and keep to the coast passing through the small village of Ratagan. Less than a mile further on look out for a gate into a hedged enclosure to your left. There is some parking at the road side.
