Note: These photographs were in the possession of Mary Elizabeth (Landers) Gray when she died in 1935.  She was raised in Lawrence Co near Hillsboro, and her father was William Landers and her mother was Louisiana Ponder and she married William Gray, son of James Madison Gray. The speculation is that these photographs are likely from the Gray, Landers, Ponder, or Cooper families (James Madison Gray's first wife was Emiline Cooper).  One of the women may be Lou Landers, sister of Mary Elizabeth Gray.
