1939 appears to be the last burial in this cemetery according to the headstone, however there are MANY graves marked 
with small stones,with no names and many unmarked. This is a large cemetery, with very few markers with names on them.
According to Vol 2 Cemeteries by County from the Historical Atlas of Alabama , for Lawrence Co., Ala , perpared by the 
University of ALA-Tuscaloosa, there are approximately 65 graves, the first known interment was 
Sarah Wells born 1761 died 1831. (This is no longer so, Thanks to the findings of Sunni Montgomery!)
