To reach this cemetery from Florence, take Cox Creek Parkway and turn northwest onto AL 20 (Savannah Highway); Go 14.9 miles and turn right on Lauderdale 8; go 0.5 mile and turn left on a paved road; go 1.1 mile to the cemetery. The cemetery is on the right side of the road.  Some of the family live near the cemetery, and one of the members (a daughter, I think) said that anyone could be buried here, does not matter as to what race. They have one acre set aside for the cemetery, and another acre is available if it is needed. At present the only people buried here are the Francis King LUCAS family. The cemetery is listed on the 1987 Lauderdale County Highway Map. The legal description is NE4, SE4, Sec 3, T1S, R13W.
