DOWDY CEMETERY

To reach this cemetery, turn northwest off Cox Creek Parkway, onto AL 20 (Savannah Highway); go 9.1 miles; turn right on Lauderdale 200, go 0.1 mile to cemetery. The cemetery is on the right side of the road, 20 yards from the road. It has an old steel fence around it, with two large cedar trees by it. It is a small cemetery, and probably does not have any unmarked graves in it. At the time of this survey, it had just been mowed. It is listed on the 1987 Lauderdale County Highway Map, name and location. The legal description for the cemetery is NE4, NE4, Sec 6, T2S, R12W.
