Searching for descendents of LEE ROY THOMAS, who died in Franklin Co., AL on Jan 18, 1929, and is buried at the MOTES-WATSON Cemetery. LEE ROY was born Oct 30, 1850 in SC, moved to FAYETTE CO., AL about 1857-1858. LEE ROY's wife's name was MARTHA. The only children's names I know of are MANDA and ANNIE - although I think he also had a son, MATHEW JIM. In 1896 LEE ROY bought 160 acres in FRANKLIN COUNTY - Township 08-S, Range 10-W, Section 07. His parents were MABRY and JANE THOMAS - his siblings were JANE, JAMES, WILLIAM, and ANDY (who died as a young chid). LEE ROY's brother, JAMES, is my great grandfather, who died in Lamar County, AL in 1888. THIS IS THE ONLY INFORMATION THAT I HAVE ON THE LEE ROY THOMAS FAMILY - PLEASE HELP!! WOULD LOVE TO CONNECT WITH MY THOMAS "COUSINS" IN FRANKLIN COUNTY!! THANK YOU!!

My great-great grandfather was James Tarpley Bolding. He was from Franklin County. My great grandmother was Nannie Bolding who married Orlando Finch. Their son James Milton was my grandfather and his son, Henry Finch, is my father. I was wondering if there are any Bolding relations still in Franklin County.

Hi everyone! I am looking for any and all information of the Lee Family in Russellville and Franklin County. My grandmother (Betty) is the daughter of Lellian(Lillian) Frances Lee. Her parents were Albert Lee and Mary Elizabeth Lee (Lasley). I know that Albert and Mary had 7 children. Two died young, their names were Johnnie and Mary. The other children are/were Madeline, Edward, Henry, Pauline, and Albert. I am trying to trace the Lee family. I have been told that many of the records were destroyed in the courthouse fire in 1890. As I said, I will take any and all information that anyone might have. Thanks!
