The following is posted on the Social Security Death index. HESTER, LEONARD D. died 26 Oct 2001 last address Franklin, GA. I would like to contact anyone who knew this man or may be related to him. Still searching for the parents of JOHN B. JENNINGS (1837-1875) and his wife, FANNIE LUCINDA CURRY (1840-1912). They married in 1865 in Franklin County. Fannie was born in Franklin County; John born Virginia. After John's murder in Franklin County (1875), Fannie took her four children to Honey Grove TX where one of her brothers lived. I do not know his name. I have information about three of John Jennings and Fannie Curry Jennings' children: Veto Curry Jennings, Richard Otto Jennings, and my grandfather, Worth Alston Jennings. Trying to locate Wanda Armstrong reguarding information submitted about the marriage of T.J. Wallace and Marian Cheek in 1841. I would like to know what the T.J. stood for. I am researching the name Tira/Tyree or some other spelling for my 3rd greatgrandfather Wallis. I am finding the name spelled in several ways and have found Wallis spelled Wallace and Wallice. I found a "Tiney" Wallis in Franklin County in 1860. I'm wondering if this might be him. They are in the Rock Creek, Colbert County, Alabama census in 1880. I am looking for Tyrie/Tyree (Terry?) Wallis in Franklin and Colbert Counties. Due to the various spellings, and the inability to find more than one or two of the same spelling, I am inclind to believe that I am searching for Terry Wallis. I find Tira Wallis in the 1880 census in Colbert County with wife Mary and children, Ora, Florence, Josephine, Oscar, Samuel and Luther. In the 1860 census I believe I found him again but it is transcribed as "Tiney" Wallice. With him are wife Mary, son George and another son, believed to be Rob (but again,.............) I have Tira born in 1834 and different sources show that he was born in Georgia or South Carolina. The 1860 census also shows next door, a John Wallice who was 58 and born in South Carolina. Maybe this is the father of "Tiney" Wallice. This census also shows wife Jemmima and children: J.A. John W. Samuel Susannah Phillip B. I am interested in corresponding with anybody researching the names Wallis/Wallace or Wallice in this area during this time. Please reply to Billie Molder Millsap [email protected]

Searching for Walter L. Jackson. He was listed in the 1930 Franklin Co., AL census with wife Beatrice and mother Cornelia. I have not found him in the 1900, 1910, or 1920 census records. He was born about 1871 in Tate Co. MS, married about 1900 probably in Louisville, KY. Searching for wife's maiden name and names of children if any. Any information will be greatly appreciated. Jim
