ZORN, David J. (Sergeant, Company B 39th Alabama Infantry Regiment) Father to Niklos J. Zorn (Private, Grace's Company, Henry County Reserves / Private, Company D 63rd Alabama Infantry Regiment) and William H. Zorn (Private, Company B 39th Alabama Infantry Regiment) Sources: the late Homer Jones
ZORN, Dennis H., (Private, Company D 15th Alabama Infantry Regiment/ Captain Company D 2nd Alabama Reserves Regiment) Born August 17, 1843 died May 29, 1899 the son of Sarah Condry and Nicholas Zorn. and brother to Private George Washington Zorn and Private James David Zorn. Enlisted August 20, 1861 in 15th Alabama and wounded at Cold Harbor, Virginia June 27, 1862 which resulting in the loss of his left arm; medically discharged December 13, 1864 and returned to Barbour County where he served as Captain, Company D 2nd Alabama Reserves Regiment. Married cousin Nancy Caroline Zorn (1842-1899); Dennis and Nancy are buried in unmarked graves at Pond Bethel Methodist Church Cemetery, County Road 75 south of Baker Hill, Barbour County Alabama. ZORN, George Washington, (Private, Company K 29th Alabama Infantry Regiment) Born April 9, 1846 Died December 25, 1922 and buried at Pond Bethel Methodist Church Cemetery, Barbour County Alabama the son of Sarah Condry and Nicholas Zorn and brother to Captain Dennis Zorn and Private James David Zorn. Enlisted at Mobile Alabama on January 12, 1864; captured at Nashville Tennessee on December 15, 1864 and held at Camp Douglas until released June 6, 1865. Married Mary A. Lee buried at Pond Bethel Methodist Church Cemetery, Barbour County Alabama the daughter of Robert B. Lee, (Corporal, Company G 29th Alabama Infantry Regiment). Sources: Homer JONES
ZORN, James David Zorn (Private, Company K 29th Alabama Infantry Regiment) Born November 22, 1836 Barbour County Alabama thought to have been killed December 16, 1864 at Nashville Tennessee the son of Sarah Condry and Nicholas Zorn and brother to Captain Dennis Zorn and Private George Washington Zorn.
