OSTEEN, George Washington (Private, Company F, 37th Alabama Infantry Regiment) born May 30, 1847 in China Grove, Pike County, Alabama. Enlisted January 1864, furloughed April 1865, disabled. Still living in February 1921. Buried in Rose Hill Cemetery, Rose Hill, Covington County, Alabama. Wife Betsy J. born May 30, 1840, died February 18, 1909, buried in Rose Hill Cemetery. Children: James Marion, b. February 4, 1869, d. November 30, 1951; Augustus, b. July 9, 1870 (?), March 13, 1921; Thomas, b. May 25, 1873; Mollie, b. June 18, 1876. Source: Chuck Carr

OZLEY, Seaborn (Private, Company C, 25th Alabama Infantry Regiment Shelby Confederates) Enlisted at Fort Gaines, Alabama, September 7, 1861. Discharged with disability at Barlow's Mill, Alabama, December 18, 1861. No later record. Born June 3, 1837. Died January 2, 1867. Buried in Harless Cemetery, Shelby County, Alabama.
