The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is located approximately 9 miles south of Butler on Hwy 17.
  Although most LDS genealogical records are already available on line at FamilySearch.org, the Family History Center here contains 400,000,000 microfiche records related to the southeastern United States. The Center also has Ancestral File, International Genalogical Index (IGI), and Social Security Death Indexes on CD-ROM, as well as microfilm records covering Choctaw County and the surrounding area.
  The Center has 2 microfilm readers, 2 microfiche readers, and 2 computers equipped with CD-ROM drives and printers.
