Mildred Pendrak, a resident of Mulberry Towers, Scranton, died Saturday morning at home.

Born 13 August 1921, in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Theresa Jubera Pendrak, she was a graduate of West Scranton High School and retired from Westinghouse, Newark, NJ. She was a member of St Mary of the Assumption Byzantine Catholic Church and the Green Thumb Serving Seniors. She enjoyed the companionship and festivities associated with the Serving Seniors and will be missed by many of her senior friends.

Surviving are a sister, Helen Bilyo, Scranton; nieces and nephews; great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by four sisters, Mary Durdan, Margaret Pendrak, Anna Kostiak, and Lillian Morris; and two brothers, Michael and Stephen.

The funeral will be Tuesday, at 9 am from the Edward J Chomko Funeral Home, 254-268 Railroad Ave, with liturgy at 9:30 in St Mary of the Assumption Byzantine Catholic Church, 310 Mifflin Ave, to be celebrated by the Rev Francis M Twardzik, SDB, pastor. Internment, parish cemetery.
