Eugene J McHale, 2113 Wayne Ave, died Sat in Community Medical Center. His wife, the former Mary Caulson, died 1 Jan 1990. Born in Dunmore, son of the late Joseph & Mary Clifford McHale. Greyhound bus driver for 39 years. Survived by three sons, Richard of Elmhurst, and Joseph & Robert of Scranton; a daughter, Mary of Scranton; four grandchildren; one g grandchild; a brother, John Clifford of Easton; nieces & nephews. Preceded in death by a son Jerry who died this year, a son Thomas who died in 1991; a brother Richard & a sister Helen Nicholas. Funeral Tuesday from the Edward Knight O'Donnell FH, 323 Williams St; Holy Rosary Church; Cathedral Cemetery.

Mary C McHale, 2113 Wayne Ave, died Monday morning at home. She and her husband, Eugene J McHale, celebrated their 51st wedding anniversay 23 Nov. Born in Dunmore, the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Burke Caulson, she was a member of Holy Rosary Church, its Women's societies, and the Providence Sr Citizen Club. Also surviving are a daughter, Mary M McHale, at home; five sons, Robert, at home; Eugene G, Dunmore; Richard, Moscow; and Thomas & Joseph, both of Scranton; two sisters, Sister M Letitia Caulson, IHM, Marian Convent; and Sister M Annchen Caulson, IHM, Baltimore; ten grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Brother Ronan, John, and Frank. The funeral will be Thursday from the Edward Knight O'Donnell Funeral Home, 323 William St, with mass at 9:00 in Holy Rosary Church. Interment, Cathedral Cemetery.
