Frank A Mangan, Miami, died at home Sunday. He was married to the former Frances Sites of Hanover Twp. Son of the late Thomas & Alice Evans Mangan, pioneer residents of William St, Pittston. Navy veteran of WWI. Also survived by a brother, Thomas J of Rosemont; two sisters, Mrs Thomas Lynn & Mrs Sarah McGuire of Scranton; nieces & nephews. Funeral & interment in Miami on Weds.

The death of Leo D Mangan, member of a prominent Pittston Township family, occurred Saturday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock at the home of his mother, Mrs Alice E Mangan, 630 William street, Pittston Township, following an illness of ten days' duration. A lifelong resident of this community, Mr Mangan enjoyed a wide acquaintance and announcement of his death caused sincere sorrow. Mr Mangan was born in Pittston township, a son of Mrs Alice Mangan, and the late Thomas J Mangan, early residents of that section. He graduated from Saint John's High School and Wilkes-Barre Business College and was a member of Saint John the Evangelist R.C. Church. While engaged as a train-man on the Michigan Central Railroad in Detroit some time ago, Mr Langan suffered the amputation of his leg in an accident. Besides his mother, he is survived by three brothers, Thomas Mangan, of Washington, DC; John Mangan, of Sugar Notch, and Frank Mangan, of Chicago, IL, three sisters, Mrs MH Hennigan, of Dunmore; Mrs Thomas Lynn, of Daleville, and Mrs John McGuire,of Kingston.
