Welcome to the web site for the American Local History Network for the Nome Census Area of Alaska.  It is our mission to bring to this site information of historical and genealogical significance of and about the settlers and residents that resided in the area of Alaska known as the 'Nome Census Area'.  The information provided will include facts, figures, family histories, photographs, newspaper clippings and articles and what-have-you.  New material is being added frequently and it is hoped that you will visit often.

This site is for all researchers interested in the Nome Census Area and we need your participation.  If you have information, facts, records, etc. about the Nome Census Area and its inhavitants or information about events, stories, records, wills, deeds, photographs or any other information you think is appropriate, please contact the Area Coordinator with details.  If you have ideas as to the type of information you would like to see here, please let us hear from you.
