Contributed by Jason Lee EdwardsJackson Jack Russell was bought by John Russell in 1842 for $304.00 at the estate sale of George Dickey in Fannin County, Georgia. His mother was Susannah Dickey Hall (c.1810 - aft.1880). Susannah was purchased at the estate sale by E. M. Hall. John Russell and E. M. Hall were both sons in law of George Dickey.
