Constructed: late 1700's

History: Joseph Orr was a resident of the Parish of St. Thomas in the East in the County of Surry Island of Jamaica. He was the owner of two plantations, Cambridge and Springfield. The monies derived from the sale of his property was to be sent to Thomas Wheeler Milner, Esq. in England.

His will was witnessed by William Cacet and John Sutherland. Joseph Orr had two brothers William and David of the County Tyrone and Kingdom of Ireland, and three sisters Elizabeth, Frances and Rebecca. The Executors of his Estate were: John Scott, George Grant, Kean Osborn, James Henry and a relative of Mr. Orr. Samuel Johnston. The will was signed on December 31 1790.
