Mr. George MONILAWES left on Saturday for Kincardine, Ont, on account of the
illness of his brother. Mr. MONILAWES has not visited his home for eleven years.

Mr. STARKEY, of St. John, New Brunswick, who has been on a visit to his son
on Sheep Creek, started for home yesterday.

Councillor FREEZE is at present receiving a visit from his father, from Upper
Sussex, N.B.

Rev. E.B. GLASS has returned to his mission on Battle River.

Miss WATSON, of Pine Creek, has assumed her duties in the public school, teaching
the young idea of the light infantry how to shoot.

We are pleased to learn that Mr. H. ANDREWS, clerk of the H. B. Co., who has
lately been prostrated with typhoid fever, was reported yesterday as being much
better. We hope to see him on the street again shortly.

Lieut. RIVERS, of A Battery, which is now stationed at Battleford, is on a visit
to his brother, W.F. RIVERS of this town.

John DEAN, who has been to Chicago, returned last week.

Mr. D.W. MARSH is in Winnipeg purchasing stock for T.C. Power and Brother's new store.

Messrs. G. LEVINGE and G. EMERSON, stockmen of High River, were in town last week.
