Be it
enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of
Louisiana, in General Assembly convened, That the mulatto woman
named Agtathe, about twenty-seven years old, together with her two
children, Pamela, about three years and Clothilde, about one year
old, belonging to F. Barriere, of the parish of St. Martin, of
Attakapas, be and they are hereby dispensed with the time prescribed
by law for the manumission of slaves.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That the owner F. Barriere, be
and his is hereby duly authorized to manumit the said slaves, on his
complying with all the formalities required by law, and in the same
manner as if the said slaves had actually attained the age of thirty
years.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That Euphrosine Tournier, a free
woman of color, of the parish of East Baton Rouge, be and she is
hereby authorized manumit Theodule, a boy of color aged about
sixteen years, after the usual advertisements if no legal opposition
be made.
Sec. 4. And be it further enacted, That Marie Meziere, free woman of
color, of the parish of Natchitoches, be and she is hereby
authorized to emancipate
her grand
daughter Marie Joseph Nathalie4, after having given the notices and
fulfilled all the formalities prescribed by law.
Sec. 5. And be it further enacted, That Athanas Meziere of the
parish of Natchitoches be and he is hereby authorized to emancipate
his three quarteroon
slaves named
Joseph Marie Nat, aged twenty years, Marie Fortunat, aged twenty-one
years and Marie Flavie, aged twenty years, after
fulfilled
the formalities prescribed by law.

Sect. 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of
the State of Louisiana in General Assembly convened, That Arnaud
Lanve, be and is hereby authorised to emancipate his female Slave
named Mary Therese, alias Augustine as a reward for services
rendered by her to his family. Provided that his emancipation be
made after the formalities prescribed by law.
Sect. 2. And be it further enacted, That Clarissa Prieto, a free
woman of colour, be and she is hereby authorised to emancipate her
daughter named Josephine, aged about twenty-three years after the
publications required by law.
