| With almost 20 years of involvement
with in genealogy, membership in the DAR, and a fondness for details, Kathy brings her
considerable experience to GenHome. Her long hours of research pay off for the visitor to the GenHome library as Kathy continues to add to the shelves! GenHome has been complimented many times on the wealth of our library, but all the credit goes to Kathy for it is all her work! In addition to her work in the GenHome library, Kathy was the first coordinator of Berks, Centre, and Schuylkill Counties on the Pennsylvania section for the USGenWeb project, is currently the manager of the Berks County Mailing List, and runs the PA1776 site, home of the PA RESEARCHERS' LIST. Portions of two other sites of Kathy's have been merged into the GenHome files, Pennsylvania Genealogy Clues for research before 1760, and Pennsylvania Genealogy, Etc. for information from 1760-1850. In her 'spare' time, Kathy has also compiled four books of special interest to PA rooters: 1767 BERKS PA Archives, 1784 BERKS PA Archives, 1765 CHESTER PA Archives, and 1771 Lancaster PA Archives, all of which are available through Closson Press. |

While virtually all of her ancestral lines are centered in Pennsylvania, Mary concentrates on Chester and Delaware Counties, and the pages she coordinates for these counties as part of the USGenWeb Project show her deep interest in the area. |
