The predominant impression of the church is Perpendicular but there is much earlier work. The arch over the south porch is Norman and has three orders of chevrons, the middle one enriched with flowers. The elaborate 17th Century monument mounted high up on the wall is to Sir John Howe and his wife Bridget of nearby Cassey Compton. The intricate 19th Century stained glass was made by Burlison and Grylls in 1897.
