St. Paul's, 1839-41, by Thomas Foster of Bristol, is built in a Neo-Norman style and comprises a west tower, nave, and sanctuary with a rounded apse, vaulted in plaster. The matching transepts and vestries were added in 1881 by W.H.C. Fisher. The wide interior was decorated in the late 19th C by sisters Rose Emily and Emily Rose Stanton. Only part of that decoration survives. The font is Neo-Norman and of bold design. There is stained glass in the apse by Warrington, 1850. The nave north window is by H.W. Bryans, 1925
