The church was rebuilt by J.T. Rowland of Wotton-under-Edge in 1854-55 as a chapelry of Hawkesbury. The building, in crude Neo-Norman style, consists of nave, chancel, ornate south porch and west bellcote. The windows have elaborate chevron mouldings. The roof trusses are supported on scalloped capitals. The font is 14th C plain and octagonal. There is the base and damaged shaft of the medieval cross in the churchyard.
