St. Peter's consists of a long nave, a wide chancel, west tower and 19th Century south porch. The lower two stages of the tower are 13th Century and are of rubble. The upper stage, which was rebuilt or added in the 15th Century, has gargoyles, battlements and pinnacles. The font is early 19th Century. The stained glass east window dates to 1897. The interior walls of the church are scraped.
Nearby stands the grand Stanway House which was built for the Tracy family. The adjacent elaborate three-storey gatehouse provides two lodges and has Jacobean details.
