St. Nicholas church is located high on the Cotswold escarpment overlooking sweeping views of Worcestershire to the north. The erly Norman doorways remain in the nave. The doorway on the north has a tympanum with incised lozenge patterning, a roll-moulded arch, and jamb shafts (one with zigzag and billet mouldings) and a grotesque head above. The plainer south doorway has an incised tympanum. There is a long 14th C chancel. The church tower has three diminishing stages and carries a ribbed broach spire incorporating lucarnes with Y-tracery of circa 1300. The font in the church is 15th C and has an octagonal bowl with four-leafed flowers on each face and a band of star pattern above and on the chamfer. The pedestal is octagonal with attached shafts. The font has an 18th C ogee-shaped cover with a renewed crowning dove. There are fragments of 15th C stained glass in the windows of the church and also some 14th C glass panels of saints.
