Northleach is one of the old "wool" towns and has one of the best fifteenth century "wool" churches - St. Peter and St. Paul's. The morning that I took photographs of the interior the church bells were chiming out the hymn music "All Things Bright and Beautiful" adding to the magical atmosphere of the place. The interior of the church is full of light and space.
There is a nine-light clerestory window above the chancel arch - a Cotswold characteristic. The late fourteenth century font has an octagonal bowl with carved heads. The East window behind the altar is contemporary and was made by Christopher Webb in 1963. 'All Alone' is the name of one of the quiet country lanes leading into Northleach.
