North Cerney is a very lovely place indeed in the Churn valley. The church, which retains some Norman features, despite being largely rebuilt in the 1470's following a fire, attracts a great deal of interest. In fact, All Saints with its interior of impeccable taste is considered by ecclesiologists to be one of the best furnished in England. The church also displays an intriguing saddle-back tower and a fine carved stone pulpit. A typical Cotswold feature is the window, now blocked, above the chancel arch. In the churchyard there is a well-restored 14th Century cross.
