St. George's, 1898-1900, is by M. H. Medland. It is built in Early English style of rock-faced stone and comprises nave, aisles, north porch and the stump of a south tower. The interior is wide with five-bay arcades. The east end was completed with hancel and vestries in 1937-38 by W.E. Ellery Anderson. The font is square and circa 1900 with marble column supports that have foliated capitals. There is a stained glass east window in the church by Peter Strong, 1977. The windows in the south aisle are by Kempe, 1902; and by H.W. Bryans, 1903 and 1922.
