Holy Trinity church was rebuilt in the 12th C when the cruciform plan was established. The nave and aisles were rebuilt again in solid Perp style by Thomas Foster, 1841-43; Ęthe chancel was altered by William Burges; and the hexagonal porch eoom added by Peter Falconer in 1973. The 14th C central tower carries a very unusual truncated broach spire that is crowned with a corona of battlement and finials all constructed in 1563. The 14th C south transept houses a very large and ornate Dec window. Within the church the walls are limewashed. The painted nave ceiling of 1962 is by Peter Falconer. The 14th C font is plain and octagonal. There is stained glass in the church by Hardman, Herbert W. Bryans, Vernon Spreadbury, and Edward Payne. In the
churchyard is a fine collection of 17th C and 18th C Baroque chest tombs. The churchyard cross is by Kempe & Co., 1919, The lychgate dates to 1909.
