St. Leonard's is a delightful small church comprising chancel, nave, South porch, and 19th Century North vestry. The church retains many interesting features although it has been scraped inside. There is a 12th Century South doorway with a chrevron-ornamented arch and scalloped capitals. Inside is a stoup. The Early English chancel has a two-light East window under a hood-mould. There is a 12th Century bellcote on the gable of the chancel arch. In the North wall of the chancel there are two small lancet windows, deeply splayed. The chancel was damaged in the Civil War, and the windows on the South side and the queen-post roof date from the late 17th Century. The original font was Early Norman and tub-shaped. It lies in the chancel, unused, and has been replaced by a small octagonal stone font. Lighting in the church is by candles in iron candelabra. There is some 1935 stained glass by J. E. Nuttgens.
