St. Andrew's is 13th Century but was severely restored in 1876-77 by Waller & Son. The medieval church consisted of chancel, nave, South porch and 13th Century West tower. The Wallers added the timber-framed belfry with pointed hipped roof; the North aisle with two-bay arcade; and the North vestry. The tower has a South lancet and a rounded double-chamfered tower arch. The font is late 14th Century. The octagonal bowl has panels, bordered with marguerites, containing suspended shields charged with the emblems of the Passion; said to have come from St. Mary's, Wotton-under-Edge. There is stained glass in the church by Joseph Bell & Son, circa 1890.
