The Poyntz family who lived in Acton Court are commemorated in stone effigies. Henry VIII stayed at Acton Court with Anne Boleyn. William of Orange once stayed at The Lamb Inn. In the church, the chandeliers are originals dating from 1725. The 19th Century font has an attached stone reading desk. An earlier font is in the porch. The memorial in the churchyard consisting of a pinnacle on multiple supports is another monument to the Poyntz family.
