Hartpury is a village dispersed across a wide area. The vicinity of the church is attractive being close to the River Leadon. A medieval bee house has been rebuilt in the churchyard. It was once used by monks from the local Monastery. There is a large, modern design, contemporary stained glass window behind the altar.
