St. Michael's is a small church in a nicely secluded setting. It is Norman in origin. Above the mutilated south doorway still exist remnants of a sculptured Norman tympanum depicting St. Michael fighting the Dragon. The chancel is early 14th Century with a plain double-chamfered chancel arch. 14th Century angle buttresses support the east wall. The small west tower has stone-slated sides apart from the west wall. It was possibly a bellcote originally and was altered in the 18th Century. The church was restored by F.W. Waller in 1909. The walls are plastered. The font is a plain octagonal bowl -14th Century. There is a stained glass window in the chancel by Alexander Gibbs, 1870.
