St. Peter's is a Norman church of nave and chancel, to which a north aisle was added circa 1200 and a west tower circa 1500. This Late Perp embattled tower is of three stages with painted stone clock faces to the west and east. It also has a high weathercock. The north aisle of the church was rebuilt and the north vestry added in 1890-91 by Waller & Son. The restored 14th C south porch protects a fine Norman south doorway with a tympanum decorated with an incised diaper pattern. The doorway has a chevroned archway as does the chancel. The font is octagonal, Gothick syle, 1784. There is a patterned stained glass east window, circa 1850. In the churchyard there is a large Mid-19th C tomb to the Waller family.
