St. Mary's is a small aisleless church with a west tower. The original medieval church underwent two major restorations - the first in 1737; then another in 1863, influenced by Architect William Butterfield. Above the south door there are parts of a Norman tympanum with diaper work. The 18th C west tower has a modillion cornice and plain parapet. The font is the sturdy baluster type circa 1737. There are 18th C box pews in the church; and a complete set of colourful windows of the 1860s by Alexander Gibbs.
